What’s better than your favorite comfort food? Serving it with your favorite childhood munchies, of course.

7-Eleven has launched ‘7-Eleven Tots’: toppable tater tots that can be customized as vehicles for your preferred nacho condiments and garnishes.

“The newest hot food available at participating 7-Eleven stores has a distinct advantage over other tater tots—7‑Eleven’s condiment and toppings bar,” the company wrote in a press statement.

Get creative with a selection of melted cheese, chili sauce, jalapeno peppers, diced onion, ranch dressing, and more, to pile onto your bed of crispy potatoes. According to the chain, the choices vary from store to store—though each one normally has six to 10 toppings to curb your cravings.

As it turns out, the golden-brown, fluffy nuggets are good enough on their own, and are made with 100-percent real Idaho and Oregon spuds.

“Tots are hot,” described Robin Murphy, Director of fresh food at 7-Eleven. “They’re served up on appetizer menus at trendy bars and restaurants. You can even find tots and topping bars at weddings.”

“7‑Eleven has its own version of a tot bar for customers to create their own favorite tasty tot concoction. We encourage culinary creativity.”

A small serving of 10 tots is priced at just US$1, while a large 25-tot portion costs US$2. These are certainly nacho everyday snack. Get your fill at select 7-Eleven outlets across the US.
