Burger King UK is introducing its latest burger, the ‘Bacon King’, that comes packed with not two or three, but eight slices of bacon.
This version is a enhanced iteration of the offering from its US menu, which only includes six slices of bacon. The ‘Bacon King’ also contains two beef patties, ketchup, mayonnaise and four slices of Amercian cheese.
Alex Macedo, President of Burger King North America, said that he was glad to fulfil bacon-lovers dreams with this special burger. The ‘Bacon King’, however, has concerning nutritional values. It contains 1,150 calories, 31g of fat and 49g of carbohydrates, so consider saving it for the occasional meal.
The ‘Bacon King’ will be available across Burger King outlets in the UK starting 14 March for a limited time only. The burger itself will cost £5.89 (US$8.24), while the meal retails at £7.69 (US$10.75).
