You already know that the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus’ camera eclipses that of Apple’s iPhone X—according to lead industry source DxOMark’s ranking of the best smartphone cameras on market—but what about their efficiency?
After several tests conducted by various prominent YouTubers, Forbes has reported that the performance of Apple’s iPhone X can’t hold a candle to that of Samsung’s Galaxy S9 Plus.
The tests were based on two factors, RAM and bloatware. Despite Apple’s A11 chipset that is 45 percent faster compared to Samsung’s Snapdragon 845, the S9 Plus still emerged victorious as it carries a 6GB RAM. This allows quick toggling between apps. The iPhone X, on the other hand, only has 3GB RAM.
Apple also tends to pre-install apps each year and roll out multiple updates that, of late, have caused more issues that need additional fixing.
